Bullnose Cone Side Table 55cm: Add Style and Functionality

The stylish Bullnose Cone side table has a smooth, round tabletop and is made of mango wood. The cone-shaped base gives the table a modern look. This table is great to combine with the taller version with a 50 cm top.

Mango Wood
This product is made of a special type of hardwood: mango wood from India. This type of wood is very sustainable because it is a byproduct of the food industry, namely mango fruit. The trees are grown on a large scale in India and grow quickly: 15 years instead of, for example, oak (50-100 years). Fruit production is good during the tree's initial period. As it gets older, fruit production also decreases. Therefore, this tree is less economically valuable on mango plantations. The solution for mango farmers is then: cut down and replant. Because of this way of working, the wood of the mango tree is truly sustainable. After its life as a food producer, the wood gets a second life as a piece of furniture. The base of mango wood has a warm color, but due to the color variations in the wood, there may be differences.

Maintenance
-Occasionally wipe with a slightly damp or dry cloth without heavy fibers, to prevent scratches.
-Avoid all cleaning tools with a rough surface.
-Avoid polishing or cleaning agents that contain silicones, because over time these can cause natural wood to dry out.
-Do not use cleaning agents or cleaning products that contain ammonia.
-Rub wax into the wood for a beautiful shine and a natural protective layer. This also prevents the wood from drying out.
-Mineral (wood) oil can be applied with a cloth. This will create a protective surface over time.
