Why choose this teak teeter stool?

Teak has traditionally been the wood of choice for furniture designed to last. The wood naturally contains a high oil content, making it highly resistant to warping and moisture. The teak from Raw Materials comes from plantations in Indonesia and is FLEGT certified, so its origin is fully traceable. Each stool is handcrafted from solid wood, which means the grain and color tone vary slightly from one piece to another.

The gentle rocking motion makes sitting more active than on a regular stool. You naturally shift your weight, which is comfortable during a long conversation or a quiet moment to yourself. With a seat height of 45 centimeters, the stool pairs well with most sofas and coffee tables. Indoors, the wood retains its warm honey color. If placed outdoors, teak gradually turns a beautiful silvery gray. If you prefer to prevent this, treat the wood with teak oil once a year.
