Why choose the San Lorenzo Lampshade?
With a diameter of fifty-five centimeters, this shade is two centimeters wider and two centimeters taller than the Es Cubells, which is just slightly better in proportion in a spacious living room. Above a reading chair, that size distributes light over the entire chair instead of just on your lap.
The abaca fibers are woven by hand over the frame, so the pattern and density vary slightly from one shade to another. This also determines how much light passes through the weave. Gently vacuum the shade or use a feather duster, and keep it dry.
