Why choose the Palette Basket?

Abaca is a fiber obtained from the leaf stalks of the abaca plant, a type of banana from the Philippines. The fiber is known for its exceptional tensile strength and was traditionally used for ship rigging. When processed into a basket, it creates a sturdy, slightly glossy structure that will last for years. The cotton rope gives the basket a soft, handmade finish with subtle texture.

With a height of 54cm and a width of 50cm, Palette Large is generously sized. This makes it just as suitable as a storage basket next to the sofa as for a large plant in the living room or conservatory. The warm natural shade combines effortlessly with wood, linen, and rattan, making the basket right at home in a bohemian, rustic, or sleek interior. Because each basket is woven by hand, every piece has its own grain and character.
